The setup

Lily Hope's gambling-addicted father sells her to an underground casino, and she expects to die there. Its secret owner turns out to be Raven, a mafia boss with more power than any rival, who offers her two options, marriage or death, and she chooses the wedding. What Lily does not know is that Raven has known her for a long time and has long thought of her as the one bright thing in a grim life. Not long after the wedding he travels for business and has her placed at his own company, where her first job is testing a new AI lifestyle assistant. A technical error keeps the assistant out of her contacts, so when an unknown account with a black profile picture shows up she takes it for the AI and starts testing it, flirtatious requests included. The account is Raven's, and her cruel stepsister is not finished with her.

Lily Hope's father sells her to a hidden casino, and she marries its owner, the mafia boss Raven, to stay alive. He then assigns her to test an AI lifestyle assistant at his company. Because of a technical error the assistant never reaches her contacts, and she mistakes Raven's black-avatar account for it. When she asks it for a photo of a man's six-pack, the message lands on Raven's phone. Thinking his innocent wife is flirting, he leaves a boardroom of shareholders, locks himself in a restroom and sends a photo of his own abs. Her increasingly bold messages make him fall hopelessly in love; he cancels business and flies home, only to find Lily in danger, her stepsister having forced her to work as a stripper in a bar. Raven arrives, and everyone responsible is about to pay.
