The setup

Ten years before the story starts, Jay gave up all of his dragon blood to rescue the girl he loved, and lost the ability to shift for good. Now he is the outcast his academy ridicules. He watches Mae take a necklace from a rival and sees his sacred scale burned to ash, and he walks away. A rival school's ice-dragon heiress then offers him a new destiny, but ReelShort's text puts the real task inside him: to rise, Jay has to remember the fire that still burns. The run came out on 2026-10-23 as 51 episodes of very uneven length: episode 1 plays 3:45, episode 3 plays 3:47 and episode 16 only 0:36.
